Το σενάριο τελείως ρήχο, χαζό, επικεντρώνεται σε μία οικογένεια, της οποίας τα μέλη κάπως κατορθώνουν και ξεφεύγουν με τον έναν ή τον άλλο τρόπο. Τόσες χιλιάδες άνθρωποι σκοτώνονται, η μάνα, η οποία ήταν περικυκλωμένη, επιβίωσε χάρη στην ανοσία που εντέλει δεν μας εξηγεί και την αιτία αυτής της ανοσίας(κάτι σχετικά με το μάτι...).Σε όλη την ταινία δεν είδα μια σκηνή τρόμου πλην αυτής που ο Καρλαιλ σκοτώνει τη γυναίκα του. Άσε δε και το άλλο που τα θύματα μεταμορφώνονται σε μηδέν χρόνο σε ζόμπι και τρέχουν σαν αθλητές.....Όσον αφορά τα ειδικά εφέ είναι δευτέρας διαλογής, αλλά όχι και χάλια.Ένα 6-/10 είναι αρκετό.
