Το Νέο Trailer του No Country for Old Men

Πρόκειται για την πολυαναμένομενη ταινία των αδερφών Coen, η οποία θα κάνει πρεμιέρα στις ΗΠΑ στις 21 Νοεμβρίου. Ο Llewelyn Moss, πέφτει κατά τύχη σε μία συναλλαγή ναρκωτικών που είχε άσχημη κατάληξη. Εκεί βρίσκει 2 εκατομμύρια δολλάρια. Αποφασίζει να διώξει μακρυά την γυναίκα και το παιδί του, ώστε να είναι ασφαλείς, όσο αυτός προσπαθεί να ξεγελάσει τους Μεξικάνους γκάνγκστερ που τον καταδιώκουν. Όμως στο κατόπι του βρίσκεται και ένας πολύ επικίνδυνος ψυχοπαθής, που έχει μία δικιά του έννοια δικαιοσύνης. Τα πράγματα περιπλέκονται όταν τα ίχνη του Moss, ακολουθεί ένας σερίφης. Πρωταγωνιστούν οι Tommy Lee Jones, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Woody Harrelson, Kelly Macdonald και Garret Dillahunt.

Dragon Ball Z

H 20th Century Fox ήρθε σε συμφωνία με τον Justin Chatwin(The Invisible, War of the Worlds) για να υποδυθεί τον Goku και τον James Marsters("Smallville," "Angel," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") για να υποδυθεί τον Piccolo. Στην κινηματογραφική εκδοχή των Dragon Ball Z, ο Goku είναι ένας πολύ δυνατός πολεμιστής που υπερασπίζεται τη Γη από ένα ατελείωτο κύμα κακών που θέλουν να κυριαρχήσουν στο σύμπαν. Την ταινία και το σενάριο θα αναλάβει ο James Wong(Final Destination), ενώ την παραγωγή ο Stephen Chow. Τα γυρίσματα θα ξεκινήσουν στο τέλος του μήνα, με πιθανή πρεμιέρα της ταινίας την 15 Αυγούστου 2008.

Ο Ridley Scott αναλαμβάνει το Stones

Ο Ridley Scott θα σκηνοθετήσει το υπερφυσικό θρίλερ Stones, σε σενάριο του Matt Cirulnick(Elysium). Η υπόθεση της ταινίας θα έχει ως θέμα την μυστηριώδη καταστροφή αρχαίων ιερών τοποθεσίων σε όλο τον κόσμο. Απ' ότι φαίνεται το Stonehenge είναι ο "δεσμός" που ενώνει κειμήλια με τρομερές δυνάμεις. Την παραγωγή της ταινίας θα αναλάβουν οι Fox 2000 και Scott Free. Η παραγωγή της ταινίας θα ξεκινήσει μετά το τέλος της απεργίας των Αμερικάνων σεναριογράφων.

Ο Sam Raimi για το Spider-Man 4

Δημοσιεύουμε κάτωθι μία μίνι συνέντευξη που έδωσε ο γνωστός σκηνοθέτης στο Wizard, σχετικά με το αν θα καθήσει ξανά στην καρέκλα του σκηνοθέτη για το 4ο μέρος του δημοφιλούς franchise.
"Looking back, you've worked on Spider-Man in some way for nearly eight years. Has the excitement stayed with you?

RAIMI: I'm just as excited about the character, and so in that sense, yes. Although the physical energy level between how I felt before I started shooting versus what was left of me on the last day of photography, I was so exhausted at the end of "Spider-Man 3" I can't tell you. My love for the characters and my passion for the stories are the same, but I was just a shell of the person that I was after all of those movies.

If you had to take a break and pick a director to replace you on the franchise, is there anyone at the top of your list?

RAIMI: Because I love Spider-Man I would just say—I don't want to pick someone. I don't know if I’ll be directing the picture or not, but I'd like to say that it would be somebody that was the best gift I could give to Spider-Man—someone who understands him and loves him and could bring his passion and love to the character. A character director probably; no one else."

Το Trailer του The Air I Breathe

Πρόκειται για ένα δράμα σε σκηνοθεσία του Jieho Lee, ο οποίος έγραψε και το σενάριο μαζί με τον Bob DeRosa. Η ταινία βασίζεται σε μία αρχαία κινέζικη παροιμία, η οποία διαχωρίζει τη ζωή σε 4 βασικά συναισθήματα: ευτυχία, χαρά, λύπη και αγάπη. Θα δούμε τις ζωές διαφόρων ανθρώπων που περιπλέκονται σε ένα μονοπάτι εγκλήματος και τιμωρίας. Πρωταγωνιστούν οι Brendan Fraser, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kevin Bacon, Andy Garcia, Forrest Whitaker, Julie Delpy και Emile Hirsch. Η ταινία θα βγεί στις αίθουσες μέσα στο 2008.

JLA, G.I. Joe, TF2 and Wolverine Updates

Παραθέτουμε το κάτωθι άρθρο που δημοσίευσε το Variety και αφορά τις παραγωγές των JLA, G.I. Joe, TF2 και Wolverine και τα προβλήματα που μπορούν να παρουσιάσουν εξαιτίας της απεργίας των Αμερικανών σεναριογράφων.

"Major tentpoles are the most vulnerable should the strike drag on. Warner Bros. execs are nervous about how to proceed with "Justice League of America," which is still uncast and is a crucial potential franchise boasting popular DC Comics characters. While WB expects to move ahead on most of its projects, if the strike extends past February, the studio will have some reevaluating to do.

Paramount, on the other hand, threw four pricey A-list scribes at would-be $100-million franchise "G.I. Joe," which is scheduled to start shooting in February, and swears that the move paid off. Stuart Beattie ("3:10 to Yuma"), John Lee Hancock ("A Perfect World") and Brian Koppleman and David Levien ("Ocean's Thirteen") teamed up in an intense collaboration that yielded, according to di Bonaventura, a shootable script. But will the studio be willing to take a chance on shooting such an important, costly tentpole? The studio insists it will, partly because it isn't chasing big-name stars.

We have to make sure the actors are not only good but perfectly suited to their roles," says di Bonaventura.

DreamWorks/Par's "Transformers 2" is far enough along to proceed with pre-production, location scouting and advance VFX work, but will face serious issues if the strike continues for several months. Michael Bay's megabudget sequel isn't set to start filming until June. Di Bonaventura's "Edwin A. Salt" will likely be pushed back, too.

Fox is moving full speed ahead with its "X-Men" spinoff "Wolverine," even though many roles are still uncast. Unlike "X-Men," "Wolverine" rests solidly on Hugh Jackman's shoulders.

On "X-Men" pics, Parker admits, writers Simon Kinberg and Zak Penn were making adjustments throughout production. "Wolverine" will have no such luxury. Most action sequences will be handled in f/x animation."
